I focused on my mental image of my candle again today. I did the meditation lying down and used Hermetic-style breathing. I did about 30 min of aerobic exercise beforehand to quiet my mind a bit. Again, a bit of mixed results. I was distracted quite a bit but I was able to refocus faster than before. The distractions only lasted for a fraction of a second. The image of the candle was sharper than before and I was able to remember and reproduce details much better than in the past few days. I was again able to navigate and change the image voluntarily. It was a pretty good meditation session. I’m going to continue with this tomorrow.
