I went back to my original plan, which involved focusing on kinetic meditations for days 10-19. I danced and sang while using diaphragmatic breathing. I went into the meditation with a pounding headache, a pain in the neck, and some indigestion. I came out feeling loose, relaxed, awake, and calm. This was a great one! I was able to keep my mind completely quiet for the majority of the meditation, although I had some random thoughts and half-assed attempts at trying to describe what I was doing. I’m usually able to do things like this for hours but I’m not disappointed. 30 minutes was the perfect amount of time today. I think I’m going to try this with reverse-chi breathing tomorrow.
