Sat after work and errands were completed. It felt very different from sitting in the morning, and I struggled to fall into stillness after the breathing exercises. Honestly, it felt as if I was ‘catching up’ and not preparing for my day. I greatly prefer feeling that I am preparing my day and attitude by meditating in the morning.

I’ll just need to adjust to scheduling changes as best I can and accept that there may be a few days a week where late afternoon meditation is the only viable option. I may go to the water on those days — it’s always easier to get still and calm when I let my mind drift over the waves.
