Just as I spent seven days working on my chakra system earlier this challenge, I have decided to spend seven days working on a single emotional issue. I will be focussing on “whatever issue most interferes with my ability to do magic effectively.”
I used the mantra with that intent in mind and felt my attention pulled to my second chakra, where it remained the entire session. No elaborate movements or looping awareness – just a steady, illuminating focus on the swadhistana chakra. Sleepiness once again posed a real problem, although I was able to avoid actually dozing off. As my focus went on, I became aware of a certain point of fear or resistance at the swadhistana. I sat with that for a long while, and finally got up after 31 minutes.
