I am moving into a new place and took the opportunity to do some of the meditation and breathwork techniques I’ve been practicing to cleanse it. I sage smudged the place and then scrubbed the floors with a batch of Chinese Floor Wash I made. The part that’s relevant to the challenge was the meditation I did. I did walking meditation around the home and used pore-breathing and what Jason Miller in The Sorcerer’s Secret called “loaded breath” to fill each room with the elements and energy that I wanted. I did take the time to do other breathing techniques to get into a trance state, as I learned over the past few days, before doing the pore-breathing.
It was a very satisfying experience. It was also great to put the things I’ve learned about myself and meditation this past month to practical use.
