Now on to the ritual.

Today I did the laughing carol of the bells and then the coal into snow this time the snow was more like a cyclone of snow, then used the Santa clearing 3 x then summoned Santa. odd thing I tried to open the gate like with the talisman and it wouldn’t open. Also tonight I didn’t put out my bead circles I told santa that our power should be enough to keep it clear. Then I feasted with Santa as we talked I set up the rule of just chatting at these meetings though I prefer more interaction there is something to be said of a bit of ceremony instead of just chatting with him like he is on a phone call with me. does that count as evocation. or something else when you just “chat with a deity without ritually summoning it? we chatted about what he could do to help I said to create more feeling when he was here like making it so I could smell his scent. or feel the feeling of what it is like to be in the presence of Santa. I realize this is what the struggle card was refering to how can I prove to myself that he is here. when I ask that question a voice in my head says no really quick. but all the rest (the tarot, the present I got and maybe the mood change) of it points to yes. I also asked him what his favorite toy is (hey got to start somewhere) it was stuffed animals/dolls. mine is changing toys like transformers.with the food gone I sent him on his way and cleared with the laughter carol. I swear the self confidence to believe that I can summon Santa and am communicating with him maybe the hardest part of this.
