It was a night of affection, smiles & laughter, being with my good friend. The energy raised continued afterwards; it was a good night….I've been thinking about this stranger I met before the challenge began. He was a short, very nattily dressed black dude, wearing shades & a black straw fedora. He started talking to me, out of what seemed like nowhere, about how he quit smoking. "Just pick one day, be a fiend for that day & if you wanna smoke the next, go ahead but pick just one day where you don't". "What, one day out of a week? One day out of the month?" "No man, one day out of your life, just one day". He made an impression on me, inspired me. I'm grateful to him. When I think of him now he reminds me of Gede.
