Right now it's all about addiction. Last nite was intense. I live across the street from a pub that's also a smoke shop. You can buy a single cigarette, roll your own. It's been around so long, their smoking areas are grandfathered in. I look out the window and see all these folks I know smoking. Gede laughs. The thought keeps coming through "I could smoke just one cigarette". Gede laughs. Like "who do you think you're fooling". It's worked too well to have the cravings summon the image of Gede. All he does is smile, sometimes laugh. It'd be funny if it was funny but it ain't except the occasional absurd funny moment when it's funny for a split second…. I went to bed last night a fiend and woke up this morning a fiend. It is a lucky thing to have Gede laughing at the absurdity of this situation. It's quite possible I would have caved by now without his smiling presence.
